LottoDost — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
This policy covers the LottoDost Android app ("the app") and the website lottodost.com ("the website"). LottoDost ("the app") shows public lottery results and lets you check your own ticket numbers. It is an independent app and is not affiliated with any government or lottery department.
1. What we collect
We do not collect personal data. There is no account, login, phone number, contacts, location or payment. The app has no analytics SDK. It shows ads from Google AdMob (see section 4); the ad service, not us, collects the data it needs to show ads.
2. Data that stays on your phone
- Saved tickets (ticket number, draw date and time) that you choose to save, so the app can check them when a result is published.
- Settings such as your language and notification choice.
- Downloaded results, cached so the app works offline.
This data is stored only in the app's private storage. It is deleted when you remove a ticket, clear the app's data or uninstall the app.
3. Camera and photos
If you choose Scan ticket, the camera image (or a photo you pick) is read on your phone to find a QR/barcode or the ticket number. Images are not saved and are never uploaded by the app. Camera access is optional; you can type numbers instead.
4. Services used by the app
- Google Play services – ML Kit text recognition and barcode scanning (on-device). Google may collect device and app information, performance metrics and API configuration for diagnostics. See Google's ML Kit data disclosure.
- Result hosting (GitHub Pages, jsDelivr, raw.githubusercontent.com and, if enabled, Cloudflare). When the app downloads results, these providers receive standard request information such as your IP address and device user agent, as with any website. The app sends no identifier or personal data in these requests.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google), used only to tell your phone that a new result is out. To deliver these messages, Firebase creates an app instance identifier and a registration token for your installation. The message we send contains no personal data, only "new result", and every phone receives the same message. See Privacy and Security in Firebase.
- Google AdMob (advertising). The Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares your device's IP address (used to estimate a general location), interactions with ads and the app (such as app launch and taps), diagnostic information, and the Android advertising ID and app set ID, for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention; the data is encrypted in transit. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in Android settings (Google → Ads). Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and the UK) the app asks for your consent first, using Google's consent tool. We block gambling and betting ads. See Google's AdMob data disclosure and How Google uses information in ads.
- Links you open (official result PDFs, live-draw page) open in your browser and are governed by those websites' policies.
4a. The website (lottodost.com)
- Ticket and number checks run in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to us.
- Hosting. The website is served by Cloudflare (and a copy by GitHub Pages). Like any web server they process your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not keep these logs. If we turn on Cloudflare Web Analytics, it counts visits without cookies.
- Advertising (Google AdSense). Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and the UK) a consent message is shown first. See How Google uses information from sites that use its services. We block gambling and betting ads.
- The website sets no cookies of its own.
5. Notifications
Result and ticket alerts are written and shown on your phone; your saved tickets are checked on your phone and never sent anywhere. You can turn alerts off, or choose which draws to be alerted for, in the app (Guide → Settings) or in Android settings.
Result PDFs you choose to save are stored in the app's own folder on your phone.
6. Children
The app is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect any data from children.
7. Changes and contact
We will update this page if the app's data practices change. Contact: [email protected]
